Rainy Day Soup at Ristorante Molise

Father’s Day was a dreary, drizzly day in most of this area – not so good for those looking forward to barbecues and outdoor fun. Luckily, my family had planned to eat dinner out, and we headed to the crowded Ristorante Molise in downtown Amesbury to celebrate.

Slurping Up Pasta e Fagioli in Bradford

Joseph'sMy husband was craving Italian food this past weekend, and since I can nearly always be coaxed into eating Italian (very easily, in fact), it was off to Joseph’s in Bradford, MA for dinner. Joseph’s has a little bit of everything – it’s part restaurant and part bakery, with a small bar and a catering business.

Quick Fix - Instant Soup From Leftovers

Whoa, what a Friday! Kids up screamin’ early and wired for a big day of school. Tons of (fun) work to get done by dear ol’ Dad (me). Errands to run. Washing machine’s chugging, drier’s spinning. Gonna’ be shuffling kids across town pretty darn soon. I’m hungry. It’s cold and rainy out - darn cool for is mid-May. What a perfect soup day. But no time to go out or even order out.
